Services Offered

I support couples experiencing a range of situations.

My goal is always to empower both individuals to be authentic and accountable. I help couples face uncomfortable realities and have difficult conversations in all counseling experiences.

Below are some specific situations that often bring couples into therapy. Click to read more about my approach.

  • I help you examine your values, discuss plans for the future, manage wedding planning stress, and navigate boundaries with in-laws. We build skills for healthy communication, examine division of household labor, and expectations surrounding marriage.

We look at your families of origin, discuss what it means to commit to a spouse, and talk about career goals. I support you in talking about children, finances, health, and other important aspects of a long-term partnership.

  • I support you during a crisis in the relationship: for example help stabilize things after a big fight, navigate an impasse regarding an important decision, provide space to grieve after a pregnancy loss.

You can talk things out with a professional and in a neutral space. Get clarity, learn how to communicate effectively, repair when possible with my support and guidance.

Usually 5-6 weekly sessions; couples often continue working with me on a less-frequent basis thereafter.

  • As a mother, wife, and former infant mental health specialist, I bring an experienced lens to supporting new parents-to-be. We talk through each partner’s feelings surrounding the pregnancy, I provide education about a baby’s developmental needs, and guide the partner on how to best support the mother.

I provide space to unpack fears, navigate family boundaries, and discuss parenting styles. Most importantly, we work on maintaining a healthy and empowering connection as a couple.

  • Thinking about separating? Let’s talk through it. Short-term counseling is available (4-5 weekly sessions) to gain clarity, talk about motives, and provide a sense of closure.

I can guide you through the logistics of separation, how to tell children and family members, and maintaining healthy boundaries through the separation.
