Therapy for individuals

I offer 50 minute secure video or phone sessions for individual adults throughout California. The fee per session ranges from $140-$185. I accept Aetna and Cigna insurance.

No matter who you are, what you have lived through, or where you’re at, therapy is a space for you to be you. I enjoy working with adults of all ages and backgrounds.

That being said, there are some issues that are particularly suited to my work and clinical experience.

  • My training in infant mental health, along with my own experience of a mother of 2, gives me a unique understanding of how to support burnt-out parents striving to break dysfunctional cycles.

  • Educators, medical professionals, bodyworkers, and others who give generously to others as a career often find that therapy helps them set better boundaries around their time and energy, clarify their goals, and improve their personal relationships.

  • I support writers, painters, chefs—creatives of all types—in prioritizing their craft and understanding their needs for inspiration and creativity.

Compassionate, illuminating support for over-extended professionals and parents.

I support the emotional experiences of caregivers as they navigate their own triggers, prioritize their physical health, and process stress related to their profession.

Often overlooked in our culture, the work of caring for others can lead to burnout and compassion fatigue without proper support. Medical staff, first responders, educators, social workers, estheticians, bodyworkers, caregivers to the disabled, parents, are just a few of the caregiving roles that are so fundamental to our collective well-being.

Yet often we carry out these roles without maintaining healthy boundaries and caring for our own health. Many times we are drawn to these professional roles as a result of our own personal journeys, adding an extra layer of complexity. Through our work together, we explore how to sustain healthy relationships while caring for others in a world that largely ignores the exhausting work of nurturing human life.
